Marina graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. She spent several years in banking before transitioning into advertising, where she works with some of Canada’s leading automotive brands. She is also the founder of the Finspire Foundation, through which she delivers financial literacy workshops to youth, newcomers, women’s shelters, and single parent households across Canada in support of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education.

 

Marina is also an entrepreneur and the founder of Rent A Gown TO, a circular fashion business that gives pageant gowns and formalwear a second life while making them more accessible.

 

Through AIESEC, a global youth organization in consultative status with the United Nations, Marina completed an international internship in Greece, an experience that deepened her appreciation for cultural exchange and global understanding. It strengthened her belief that cultural exchange fosters mutual understanding, compassion, and friendships that transcend borders.
